To Glee or Not To Glee

Fly.fm brought up this topic this morning. yeah i forgot my thumbdrive so i had to listen to the radio instead of my usual 'let's-dance-to-kpop-every-time-i-drive'. apparently it's a trend now that Glee has been making remakes of songs (old & new) and it's like, instead of how many grammys you won, if your song is on Glee, so your song has been Glee-fied, you know you've made it. so the question is; To Glee or Not To Glee?

they put Glee's version of Britney's Toxic preview, and then the real version after that. they just sounds the same. in my opinion, i would say Not to Glee. why?

Glee is a musical comedy isn't it? why can't you make your own music? you are after all, a musical. like High School Musical. yeah yeah yeah you'll say i'm a kid who still loves that nerdy movie featuring the hot Zac Efron. come on people. why must you gleefied other songs? some of the gleefied songs are not bad, the old songs like Lionel Richie's Endless Love. that was nice. the Rehab song, that was nice too. but others are... you see when you gleefied all of the songs especially the new released songs, it just kills the element of speciality or awesomeness. like the gleefied version of Paramore's The Only Exception. if you really want to 'remake' it you might as well make it special, sounds better than the original but this! this sound exactly like the original!

honestly, i'm tired of Glee. when the show was first broadcasted i was among the first to actually follow the series. after the.. 'Sectionals'? is it? i forgot. after that episode, i just don't watch it anymore. it's like i'm wasting my time watching it. i rather watch Family Guy. at least they got Stewie. Glee for me, is no longer awesome. Top Gear is much more awesome. How I Met Your Mother is the most awesome. Glee? Geli.

p/s: i seriously need to buy me a RayBan. the sun is killing my eyes every time i drive at noon.
